Thank you for your interest in adopting a child with moderate to severe therapeutic or medical needs featured on the Gulf Coast JFCS Heart Gallery.

Ashlynn is a vibrant 13‑year‑old Caucasian girl whose bright personality and creativity shine through in everything she does. She loves roller skating, gymnastics, arts and crafts, and playing with her Barbie dolls. She also enjoys reading, comics, and hopes to become a teacher one day so she can share her love of learning with others.

Ashlynn’s interests are as colorful as her personality. She LOVES pizza, Takis, Twizzlers, Kit Kats, and Twix, and her favorite colors are red and dark blue. She enjoys watching YouTube Shorts, playing Roblox, and imagining future adventures: like seeing snow for the first time or living in the Rocky Mountains someday. She treasures her stuffed lion named Avocado, who goes everywhere with her and brings her comfort and joy.

During her Heart Art session, Ashlynn created a piece called “Lilly the Llama.” Her creativity really blossomed as she used all kinds of materials and enthusiastically told staff stories about Lilly’s personality and life. Her humor, imagination, and bubbly spirit made the experience unforgettable.

Ashlynn is a kind‑hearted, funny, and engaging child who is working hard to understand and manage her emotions. She uses art as a coping and processing tool, helping her work through emotions in healthy, creative ways. With the right support, patience, and encouragement, she continues to grow every day. She thrives in environments where she feels heard, supported, and part of a loving team. She also wants her future parents to know that she dreams of one day having a baby brother or sister to share life with.

Ashlynn is ready for a family who can embrace her sparkle, nurture her dreams, and help her feel safe, stable, and cherished.
